Dutch Oven - Spiral Glazed Ham

Spiral ham is so good, even vegetarians like it. This simple recipe is sure to please everyone. Since the ham is precooked, you just need to warm it up. A ham like this is such a "giving food"; save the bone and make soup, and you'll also have ham sandwiches for a week!

12" Dutch oven
325 Degrees
105 Minutes
8 Servings

  • 10 lb spiral ham
  • Included glaze packet 0r glaze below
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
Place ham in 12" Dutch oven, which may require some surgery. Sprinkle cloves and sage on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 90 minutes until internal temperature registers at 160 - 180 degrees. Drizzle glaze on top, add more heat to top of lid and cook for 15 minutes longer.

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
